Central Government:

  • Served as Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (from October 2022)
  • Appointed as Expenditure Secretary in the Ministry of Finance from August 2024 until April 2025, focusing on subsidy rationalisation, centrally sponsored schemes, and improving public expenditure efficiency.

Cabinet Secretariat:

  • In April 2025, transferred to the Cabinet Secretariat as Secretary (Coordination), taking over the critical role of ensuring inter-departmental coordination across the Government of India. This position was previously held by the Secretary (Coordination) before his appointment.
